Clare Big Boy

Liz and Deb have great knowledge of our gluten allergy. They took great care to make sure that our food was made safely. When we come to Clare again, this will be the place we will continue to come to for our meals. Thank you so very much ladies and kitchen staff!

The food was good and atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was really a stand out. Her name was Shelby and she interacted with my kids in a great way and they really enjoyed meeting her.

We arrived on a busy Sunday afternoon and there were 12 people ahead of us waiting to be seated. The hostess seated the two big parties in a timely manner and then seated us. The waitress was at the table immediately. She took our drink orders and left the menus. The food was good. It was Big Boy fare that we knew we’d get when we chose the restaurant. I give the staff and the leadership high marks for atmosphere. The waitress was engaging and attentive. Throughout the restaurant employees were thanking one another, smiling and laughing. The place had an upbeat vibe about it. I appreciated it. It seems that many of the places that we’ve been to have employees that look and act like they’d rather be somewhere else.

Liked it but was the to get the big boy burger and waitstaff said they were out! Turns out they were only out of the specific buns so the cook offered to make the big boys using regular buns and it was very good. Potato Pancakes were yummy too.
