Looking Glass Brewing Co.

This was my second go-around at Looking Glass. First was not go good, but they were just opened and still getting used to things.

I was a party of four looking to eat and drink. waited at door, waited at bar, waited on patio and finally got to go home. The bar guy was really dis-interested in anything other than what was on TV. had to ask for glass, ice, utensils to snack on fries and generally left the impression we were imposing on him. We were asked four times to "cash out" at the bar before getting a seat outside on the patio. Felt like we were going to skip town or something!
Patio service is non-existent; you must get your own water and most anything else you want, We could not get menus for 10minutes, according to our server. Eventually she brought them after the "kitchen caught up"
The greeter was really nice and very friendly. He was the bright spot in the evening. Service people seemed frazzled and certainly were not smiling!
We got the wrong checks at first. Sorted that out, but I don't like sorting anything out in a bar/restaurant.
Food was mediocre, service was poor and experience was not relaxing or enjoyable.

We didn't drink, but I would recommend this place for only food as well. This place seats 4 comfortable and can easily seat more. It is a rustic bar that feels cozy.

Food was good, but we waited nearly an hour to get our food and received no apologies from staff. My wife had to get to work that night and we ended up only having 15 minutes to eat our food as quickly as we could as we didn't expect it to take so long to get it. Not sure if I would come back as this is the second time we have waited over 40 minutes to get food for 2 people which was a burger and fries both times.
