I'm giving you a four star, but really it needed a 2 but I like the restaurant, I think It was timing, I've been contemplating on writing a review but I think your kitchen needs some skills! I had a weekend planned for the wife and I for her birthday and I've had your prime rib and it has been good, but what did I do to deserve the very end of the prime rib overcooked and I asked for medium? and totally rare piece for my wife? When I asked for med well for her? It was the worst dinner for me! Quality control would help a lot, like somebody checking the food before it goes out ( and ask yourself would you eat that?) and then have a manager walk around and check with your customers to see if the food was ok? So if you're reading this and you go to Dead Bear and the food isn't what you expected, you need to say something, I will next time for sure.
A great place to stop to get a bite to eat and a nice cold glass of craft beer. Conveniently located off of the interstate business loop I-75 next to the Days Inn Hotel. The menu is simple but there is plenty of food choices to choose from. They do have an outside covered patio for the summer days dining.

The food was good and service was also good. Rustic furniture and decor. It wasn’t very busy and I believe it is a nice place for friends and family to hang out together.
Love, love, love this place! The food is delicious and inexpensive.. Service is great and the people are kind. We love to visit on Fridays and Saturdays so we can enjoy the live music too.
The beers were OK. The food was very good. Service was excellent. And it was conveniently located near the Ramada.
Two complaints. Both about samples. There policy seemed to be that samples of their beer were free ... guest taps cost a quarter for a sample. Seriously? If you don't want to give out samples, don't! Secondly, the samples seem to come in the smallest plastic condiment cup they could find. I would estimate about an ounce of beer. Pretty skimpy! Often my wife or I will ask for a sample of something and both of us will get to try it. Not at this place. These are minor nits, but ...
