This is a warm and welcoming family owned business. The first thing that caught my attention was the aroma of the authentic spices, it smells like a place that would live up to its authentic food guarantee. Don't come in nice clothes- they'll end up smelling like food.
Koshary is koshary, the chicken is cooked to perfection, very juicy. The pickled eggplant tastes like it came straight from Egypt. Everything is cooked very well. It's like eating a home-cooked meal. Definitely recommend for those seeking to try an authentic Egyptian cuisine. They follow covid guidelines. With a little more maintenance though, this place could be top notch.
