I ate there three mornings. The first morning was great food & bad service. The second was great service, & just ok food. Third time so so service and not so good food. Some one should teach the short order cook how to scramble eggs. It looked like he/she broke the egg on to the hot griddle and stirred the egg a couple of times. Looked like eggs over easy that had beed squished.
Went for the Sunday morning buffet. Should have ordered from the menu. Wasn't happy. Eggs were cold, dry. Swedish pancakes were cold. Will try it again though, just want food that's hot and fresh tasting. Heard the custard is to die for...
Service was fantastic. Very clean. Fun Swedish choices of pancakes, meatballs, homemade breads and other items of which I didn't know. Their menu has American choices as well. Very easy to get to and handicap accessible.
The desserts are always tasty, plentiful, and well worth it. The food is your typical unremarkable frozen box food tossed into the deep fryer, or dumped from a bag straight to the plate. The service is as unremarkable as the food. The staff have never been rude, but they definitely do nothing to warrant giving a tip. I feel that if they are unwilling to go the extra mile, why should I extend the extra dollars to enable a poor work ethic? The lack of staff enthusiasm also shows when I've always had to strain to find a clean table to sit at. I can easily overlook the bland food since I'm usually there for the sweet treats, but a bit more effort from the staff could push them to at least a four star review from me. Currently as it is, the desserts pushed it to a three.
