Have eaten here for many years & have always been satisfied. Our class of 54 meets there every month for lunch. They are great to us.
I've been coming here my whole life, but a true testament to how great this place is, is when we brought in our rowdy group of siblings and kids. They took us in good stride and our food came out quick for how many people there were. It was all delicious and we never felt like we were being shoved out. We had a really great time and I can always count on the food being good consistently. Any time we go out for a meal, this is one of our first choices.
I had something called Belt Buster breakfast. Breakfast is served all day, which is terrific, because it is my favorite meal of the day. It came in a short time, and was, for the most part, very good. The over-medium eggs were almost perfect (which is the best I ever hope for), the pancakes were really good, bacon was perfect, and the sausage gravy was outstanding. I did not care for the thin, dry sausage patty, but link sausage was good. Hash browns were OK, but I forgot to ask for crispy ones, so that was my fault - my friend really liked them.
This place is famous for pie, and I think the reputation is well-earned. I had Rhubarb Crumble, and it was to die for. The Raspberry Pie was too tart for my taste, but that may be the norm: I had never had it before.
The service was good, and the place has a homey, family friendly atmosphere.
Been going here since before I could remember. Always loved the breakfast/lunch bar on Sundays. The taxidermy on the walls is great, the service has always been great. The food is good for most occasions or even a daily stop if you live in town. Can't love this place enough.
Nice family restaurant to stop in for a bite to eat. Super friendly staff made dining there a pleasure.
I was only there for breakfast.
The menu was interesting with delicious sounding meals for breakfast lunch or dinner.
I had an omelette and some sausage patties. The omelette was fine, it was light on the feta cheese and other goodies that were supposed to be in it. The sausage patties were good but a tad on the dry side. The coffee is decent dinner coffee.
Others in my party enjoyed their food as well.
Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely like to come back to try other items from the menu.
