Applebee's Grill + Bar

I am not a restaurant person, but my sisters and I planned an afternoon out to go eat at Applebee’s. We had the best service ever. Our server, Asaunte was on point. She was very polite and friendly. Best service I ever had there. Whoever is the owner of Applebee’s, I am telling you right now this girl deserves a pay raise. The next time I go to Applebee’s I want her to be my server. If she's not there I am leaving.

I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to be seated immediately on a Friday night at 6 pm. The menu had plenty of choices that I could enjoy. I chose a Southwestern steak salad. When it arrived it really didn't resemble the menu picture and the steak which was ordered medium was obviously well done.
The end result was that the salad had good flavor, the pico sauce was especially good and spicy. The steak, although over done, wasn't the shoe leather I expected. It was decent enough not to be sent back.
A good time was had by our group. The server did a nice job.

The staff were great. The only problem I had that wasn't really a problem is why do the staff panic when they see a crowd of 6 or more. We had a big group 20 maybe more and the girls panicked. This was not the only time I heard of this happening at this restaurant. We were served well and we tipped well because they were wonderful. Just remember take a breath and if someone gets out of hand find a kind and smiling face to deal with it. Most of the time there will be someone that can handle the idiots in the group. ????
