    The food is AMAZING and the staff are so friendly and kind. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new, you won't regret it! I tried the Ox Tail based off a recommendation from the staff, and it did not disappoint. In fact it was a wonderful surprise and absolutely something I plan to get again. Also they have the best collard greens in town, hands down.

    Catfish was really good. But my mac n cheese was kinda cold. Waited 30 min. Shoulda been piping hot. But other than that I liked it.

    The best soul food spot in the Lansing area. I recommend calling ahead for your order. The pork chop dinner, mac and cheese, and cornbread stuffing was delicious. I also tried the peach cobbler but will not get it again the next time I go. The owner was doing it all himself and was very friendly.

    Got catfish dinners and three sides. Everything was great. The guy that cooked the food and served me was very nice. I’ll definitely be going back! For all the African American people that go to and praise these other fish fry type of places but don’t support your own, y’all are the problem. Support your own! The fish was the best I’ve had in Lansing! Well seasoned and fried perfectly
