City Park Grill

City park grill is a fun place to go with great food as well as very good entertainment. I enjoyed their seafood pasta with salmon and shrimp, was very good. Popular place with lots of activity, has a great vibe.

I stopped by for happy hour. I had steak on a stick and a wedge salad on the advice of the bartender, Heather. Both were excellent, as was the service. Heather did a fine job and was personable well in spite of being busy with the crowd.

Bartender this past Friday was awesome mid-day. She recommended the prime rib for the evening. We came back and asked our waittress for the prime rib. She responded "it probably is all gone". She stood there looking at us expecting us to order something else. She didn't want to go back to the kitchen and check. She was pretty clear on that. So my friend asked the gentleman clearing tables and he went back to the kitchen and put 2 steaks on hold for us. Our waitress was horrible. She only got a good tip because the man who helped us out wouldn't take one!

City Park Grill was a great find in Petoskey. I got the Reuben. Yum!! It was perfectly cooked and had a rich but herb-y fresh taste. The housemate BBQ chips are crispy and delicious. My favorite thing though for our late lunch was when they surprised us by bringing a tray out with fresh-from-the-oven biscuits. Would you like a fresh biscuit. Uh, yes!!
