“Mega Coney Island is my new go to place. They are amazing. I had never been before but had been suggested it by many friends living near Fenton that are regulars there. Now I know why. AMAZING food and even more amazing service! Burger was exactly how I liked it. Fries were delicious. Love that they have Pepsi products for drinks. And loved the chocolate shake. Great place to eat. “I was really impressed. Bathroom was clean, dining room was super clean and everything stocked. Came in at dinner time (5:30pm) and did not have to wait for anything. Got 4 $5 meals and a slaw. All was good. Wife got biscuits and potato wedges for the road. Keep it up guys. Brought the magic tonight to some warry travelers. Well done. Wish all my experiences were so nice. “We had breakfast bagel sandwiches here. Their bagels are not very good. Other bakeries do a much better job. Also tried their frozen lite cappuccino. The drink wasn't bad, but it was nothing I would rush back for either. The young man running the register acted as though serving the customers was beneath him. Very bad attitude. “The food is good, if you go for the show you are going to have fun. But if you are going just to sit and eat be prepared to wait a bit. Not for the server but for the food. The chefs have a hard time timing when they send it out. I guess they don't get many orders and are hoping that you will eat at the show and not make them do to much. “The only complaint I have of this restaurant is the amount of straws at my dinner table. I was not even asked, when brought my preliminary water, if I preferred straws. I just received one. What if i had a jaw problem and I couldn't drink out of straws? Would I waste a whole plastic straw and put it into the rivers of our planet? However, the pesto sandwich was exquisite. The guacamole? Better than my own, freshly made (because they ran out). Some of my peers, when asked what beverage they desired subsequent to the appearance of straw-laden waters, asked for a Coca-Cola. When this friend of mine received his syrup-filled carbonated beverage, yet appeared another straw! This is not necessary. My feedback is a simple question: Do all your customers need a straw for every drink? Do they need a straw at all? The answer is no.”

“Restaurant wasn’t busy despite a busy downtown on a Saturday night. Food and service were amazing! Since breads are the specialty I think it was my fault for getting veggie lasagna that was good, just super heavy on the cheese (and I love cheese). Ravioli were perfectly cooked and definitely a splittable portion. We’ll definitely be back! Order your baked goods and they’ll bring them to the table & add it to your bill. (This lets you skip the line if they’re busy! It’s a great concept). The restaurant has drinks and beer. It seems more like a cafeteria though which may be the reason they didn’t have a big crowd?”

“Our waitress was new and she did a great job of making sure that we were taken care of. We were disappointed with the food. I had tamales and he had tacos and both had no flavor. My favorite thing was the guacamole. It is difficult to find good guacamole and theirs was perfect. Unfortunately the chips were not very good. I understand the nature of their business but I really felt like I left there feeling like I was contributing to the landfill problem. Everything was packaged in little containers with lids, paper cups and tin trays. I think if you eat in they should consider I more environmentally friendly way of serving their food. After dinner we made our way back to the speakeasy. If you are looking for bartenders who are creative and make craft cocktails, this is your place! We will be back there for sure.”

“Logan was our server, he was very knowledgeable about the menu. The portions are enormous, well worth the price. Numerous TVs so that you can watch the game. They also have a huge game room. The game machines give you tickets that you can trade in for real prizes. My oldest turns 12 soon and we will be booking his birthday/ pizza party here.”
