Blackstone's Smokehouse

I visited Blackstone's during Back to the Bricks for the first time after the new owners took over. I really like the change in the menu. Their barbecue and smoke items are delicious. They were very busy but we were lucky enough to get two bar stools when we walked in the door. The bartenders were really great and friendly. I recommend visiting blackstone's for a Yummy meal and ice cold beverages.

We heard about the change in menu and wanted to see for ourselves how the new barbecue focused menu was. We ordered the hog wings as a starter, and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed them. The sides were good as well, and they were handing out a small sample of their competition chicken. This was rather good as well, moist and flavorful. We will be back again as we did enjoy the food very much.

Enjoy with the superb service and wonderful drinks at Blackstone's with its inviting and upscale decor. One of downtown Flint's best place to visit to enjoy the summer fun and breezes on their outdoor patio. Thanks for bring back the historical memories and to making new ones!

It's now Blackstone's Smokehouse. Menus is different from before I've been told. Barbecue food. I had the smoked brisket. It was great! Brussel sprouts were yummy. Priced reasonably.

Our waitress, Lisa, was wonderful. It was a semi-busy night and she had tables across the restaurant from each other. Despite this, we received prompt service upon our request for butter, ketchup and the like.

Food came out quickly and hot and they have a decent beer selection.

However, the food was a mixed bag; the beer cheese and pretzels were amazing and my pasta con pollo was absolutely delicious, but the mac and cheese was somewhat bland.
