    Started going there 35 years ago and anytime I'm in Michigan I always stop there. Good memories the man that owned it has passed away but both your sons run it now. I'd have to say they do their dad proud excellent service food and Price right. If you know what a Coney is they have good Coney food

    I remember when my uncle Stanley used to take us to John's Coney Island it's also a big part of my childhood and I'm 42 years old now... We used to go there and get Coney's they have the best in Flint you know... He'd take us there's a special treat and then we go get ice cream this is an extremely great place to go if you got some hungry kids in the car and don't have a whole lot of money to spend they really hook you up and wait staff is extremely Pleasant!

    John's has been there consecutively for at LEAST 40 years. It's an old Coney Island, with a couple of seasoned waitresses who are great, and a couple who seem like it's their first day. The cheeseburger I ordered was EXACTLY like 35yrs ago, really good.
    Good fish & chips, BLT, Clubs, chili, real coneys, all good. Oh omelets and breakfast items are large and flavorful.
    Its beat to death physically, but clean and easy on the pocketbook. They try hard. Old school, old period, but good!
