“The pulled pork with the cherry BBQ sauce was excellent. Best I've had in a while. Staff is very friendly. I would have given a higher rating were it not for the extremely slow service. We asked for a minute to look at the menu and nobody came back to take our order until I waved for their attention. I did not notice any other food being served and still our order took a good 20 minutes to arrive. Quick take: good food, slow service.”

“It's your basic Little Caesars Pizza franchise. They have gone through the modern corporate updates and have online ordering and the "Pizza Portal" options that are advertised on tv. The main difference from this location and other locations around the nation is that the prices may not match what is advertised nationally. However, the food quality is a little better than what you would get in Detroit or at other locations. The staff at this location is great and they have never messed up an order that I have placed.”

“Clean the restrooms and I give five stars. The burgers are solid the fries are great. Love Burger Supreme and a Boston cooler for over 45 years of my life have become my staple. Except for that dark period a few years ago when some genius thought it would be good to change Halo Burger ingredients ???? thinking of "New Coke". Keep the basics the same.. fresh beef matters, they have it. Jury is still out on prefab burger patties. The fries have changed, but don't suck for a line flow "natural" cut. Few details in an increasing difficult segment that's even harder to staff...so I get it. Rock it new ownership????”

“Tacos and spicy guac were delicious, good prices & friendly staff ***UPDATE*** Changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. We visit El Especial weekly, sometimes a couple times a week. And we no longer like the guacamole. So bummed. We've ordered it the last 3-4 visits and it's just consistently bad now. I was hoping it was just a coincidence the first couple of times but I will no longer waste my money. Food is (usually) delicious but some nights we're more pleased with our food than others, it's not always consistent.”

“Everyone told us we had to try Chicken express and we weren't initially sold that this chicken place would be any different from any other chicken spots in flint. We were pleasantly surprised. Despite it being really busy, our order was taken and delivered within a very short time. Everything tasted fresh; the fries tasted like real potatoes, and chicken wings were perfect! The restaurant is super clean and the service was 5 stars! We will definitely be back!”

I'm a whiskey lover, so being able to try all of the different things you can't get elsewhere is always fun. Last visit I had a pear cider that was really good too.
