Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort

My family enjoyed coming here for the first time. We are sort of new to the sport hence we are trying out different places to ski. We find BP worth the trip all the way from IL. So long as you stay a few days.

Great alpine skiing recently. Most downhill runs were well groomed. Great variety of runs and terrain. Lodge was mostly shutdown with covid but still a great experience. I will be back.

They were open in minus 13 below - it was cold but the snow condition was 10/10- fresh powder nicely groomed. Big wide slopes for all abilities and warm and cozy firepit outside. The slopes were groomed and maintained very well- definitely the best ski resort in Midwest.

Fun skiing place that has hills for beginners pros alike. They had many lifts and a big resort, also had an area for kids to ski with a very little hill. I would recommend stress if you are beginning to ski or if you have been sleeping for a long time, it’s a very nice area to go. It was reasonably priced as well.

Nice outdoor firepit. Outdoor bar. Beer was $6 for a top shelf can which I'm good with! We didn't ski but it was fun to hang out; loved it. We do skis and watch how nice the hills were to ski on while enjoying our cocktails by the warm fire pit. Other people skiing said it was great!
