    First time visiting after hearing many great things about this place. I decided to ride my bike the 9 miles from Alma on the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail to the Tavern as it is located just south of the trail. It was a Tuesday night so they had $3 nachos and $1 tacos and quesadillas. The staff and fellow patrons were very friendly and the Tavern is clean. I really enjoyed my dinner and will definitely return.

    It did not disappoint, as usual!! If it's a Friday or Saturday night, make sure you come early!! We arrived at 430 and the place was packed by the time we left around 530. You will have to wait as they make each order fresh, no soggy chicken laying around!! 5 stars all the way!!

    This is the definition of hole in the wall and a hidden gem. Everything on the menu is amazing. And you can’t beat the fact that the draft beer is cheap. You’ll leave this place 100% satisfied and 10 lbs heavier than you came.

    The servers and bar tenders we're very friendly and polite. We ordered the fish and deep fried gizzards. Everything was DELICIOUS. This was my first time there. I will definitely be back.
