Very nice establishment. Great food! I love the Dagwood

There could be a better beer selection, of course, so don't go here for local microbrews. But it is a nice little gold mine of decent bar food in one of the less event-filled towns in America.

On a whim we stopped. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Picked the sirloin special, cooked just right. Nice selection of beers on tap. Good $$$$ Will have to try again so we can try something else from the menu

The burgers are tasty and the chicken strips are great dipped in their delicious dill dip. Place has a dimmed relaxing vibe. I would have to say its a lot better than it used to be 5 or 6 years ago.

I am not a FOODIE. When asked where I'd like to eat, I typically do not care. When in Hillsdale, that is a different matter! The Hunt Club is one of the places you expect to have a good meal, but you get a great plate every time. When the food comes to you, it looks delicious. But when one takes a bite, then you know something delicious. While I have enjoyed all the meals I've experienced, I'll mention the onion rings. Most every place today serves onion rings that once you break the batter the onion slips out. Not so at the Hunt Club. They make the perfect onion ring where the batter stays on the onion for a flavorful feast. If they get the sides so perfect, they pay attention to the main course. Enjoy!
