We were "wowed" when we walked in! The diner was restored to its better than original beauty... wood floors, historic Port Hope pics, Grandpa Buck photos and lovely wood booths♡ The diner serves up hospitality and delightful food. Our ham steaks and eggs with the perfect brew hit the spot. We love Buck's Port Hope diner and "Tarra Beara" 🐻 Stop in and try it out--bet you will ❤️ it, too 😀
Great addition to Port Hope, Ordered the potato pancake and polish sausage breakfast special. Everything was delicious. Always good weekly specials available.
Shared a nice breakfast with friends during the week. The restaurant was quite full but the wait staff were attentive.
I ordered a Reuben and shared some of the breakfast foods with my wife. Reuben was excellent except for a slightly soggy slice of bread where the bread met the sauerkraut. Breakfast foods were fine - bacon was good, toast was good, pancakes were large but dense and when I go again, I'll ask for the hash brown potatoes more crispy.
Good decor, nice staff, good food. Will be back. 5/5
New breakfast/lunch spot in town and we had a great breakfast. Omelet was delicious and cooked to perfection - Not your typical greasy spoon. Many menu options with specials too. Will definitely come back to try out their lunch. Aesthetic of the building and the historic renovated details make for a great environment to share a meal with the family
Nice family restaurant. Great looking decor and great service --very friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet! Overall great menu and choices. I would love to see fruit or fruit cups -that would be a nice addition:)
