All the staff, kitchen & management is excellent. They're all very kind and courteous!

My husband goes, sometimes, because it's close to his work. He ordered "Fish Hook", basically fish-n-chips. It was tasty and, most important, NOT GREASY!! Good fries!! He went at lunch time, NOT CROWDED!!

Great food great service. Had a good time watching the band and sitting on the patio.

Great Band, STONE! Food is very good. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Beer was good and cold! Nice hometown Pub and eatery.

Decent. The decor is a little "downscale" compared to the restaurant it replaced (Sammy's Paddock) but it's clean and practical. It went from being a "nice restaurant" to the sort of place that has TVs on the walls. The food is still quite good, but again it's gone from "nice sit-down restaurant" food to "bar food." If I were rating it strictly among other sports bars is give it 4 out of 5 stars, but I think the best sports bars rarely rise above a 3 in a broad comparison of restaurants. They're not very comfortable, the prices are usually too high for what they offer and the food is just fair. Charlie's fits the mold on all accounts. Charlie's probably beats the average sports bar on food, but on my single visit they fell rather short on service. It was quiet in the restaurant yet our service, which was polite and accurate, was oddly slow. It was only one visit, but if other people say the same maybe it's a problem, maybe it was just an exception. If you like sports bars, I think it's a winner.
