Capital City BBQ

What a great little place! Two wide ranging and delicious menus: BBQ on one side, Vietnamese on the other. Great service, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite local restaurants. I think this place has the best Vietnamese and best bbq in town. A weird little space shared with a phone store. I choose to find this charming. Really nice folks run the place, too.

Delicious food, pleasant staff, very casual atmosphere. Ordered to go, took about 15 minutes. Amazing egg rolls. Brisket Banh Mi was the perfect combo of delicious BBQ and Vietnamese. Always hard to find decent food in Lansing, but this place is on my list now!!

Very small diner feel. If you can ignore the cell phone shop. The food is absolutely delicious and I really like the mix of Vietnamese and barbecue. if I'm feeling like an egg roll or some noodles I can go there, or if I'm feeling like some southern BBQ cuisine is what sounds good I can go to the same place. The prices are affordable. I normally walk down twice a week from my job and grab a side of beans eat them there and with a tip it's less than $5. The only thing that this place doesn't have over meat barbecue is the sauces. The sauces leave a little bit to be desired for. but if they get their sauce game on top then they would be the number one barbecue joint in the town but for me barbecue sauces generally make or break a barbecue spot. Meat has them beat when it comes to sauces... but flavor profile cost menu variation capital city BBQ has Meat beat.
