Fresh Fish and Fry

Their food is awesome. Only thing is I wish they would poke the Styrofoam containers to allow steam to escape. Makes the fries a bit soggy at times.

This place is the real deal. You know that restaurant you are always looking for? The local secret, with the amazing food and the reasonable prices? Yeah, this is that place. I have been eating here since I was in high school, my dad was working in Lansing, and used to bring home leftovers for us. Even cold, the food is amazing....
So, 15 years later, the food is still just as killer! They have a cooler with fresh fish, so you can either have them cook it, or take it home to cook. I always have them fry it for us, because it is amazing.
We had the jumbo fried shrimp and ocean perch, which were both superb!
If you aren't a fan of seafood, the crack chicken is always on point, so definitely try that as well.
Call ahead if you don't want to wait, this place is quite popular, so there are usually several orders ahead of you.
Bottom line, this is the best seafood in Lansing.

Our go to in Lansing for fish and chicken. Lots of variety and super delicious. I love that you can get different cuts of fish here.

The food was a 4 minimum but the service and attention to detail was trash. My order was messed up 4 different ways (really 4!!!) and each time I had to wait for them to start something over. The only thing that was hot when I got home was the last meal that they cooked because they originally forgot it in the first place. However, the food was good so I am gonna say eat it, but order with caution and check your order. Do not assume they will get it right.
