Very good pizza, meatballs and bread sticks. Super yummy. Great service. I reheated a slice in air fryer. Yummy I’m testing freezing a few slices.
Fabulous pizza!
We ordered a whole pizza - not a slice, and built our own. Wonderfully flavorful crust on the thin side that was cooked perfectly to a nice crisp bottom that still held up to the toppings and stayed that way even in the take out box. (How do they do that?!)
Great sauce and right amount of toppings and cheese. This is good cheese too!
We also had the pesto squares - yum.
Love love love them both.
I like the online ordering Toast app too - works well.
We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood party for neighbors within a mile or so of the new Slice location. The pizza was cooked well and there were lots of options to test out. We have gotten carry out twice since then and we were less impressed. In our opinion, there was way too much cheese. It seemed like what you would receive for an "extra cheese" order. I would like a little more sauce and way less cheese. I'm sure they have to work out the kinks, but if you don't like heavy cheese, you might want to ask for it light. Perhaps the way it was made on the neighborhood night was how it is actually supposed to be made, since the owner was there to oversee things. Also, we felt that it could have been cooked a little longer. It seemed like they were really slammed (they were running a %50 off special for the first month), and both times when we got there, the pizza was not made yet, so it felt a little rushed. Almost like they were taking them out early to move orders along. Finally, I was under the impression that a Margherita pizza came with tomato slices, but we had to add this to our order. The crust seems really good and i have no complaints with the toppings themselves, just need to get the mix correct. We will continue to order from here and hopefully, we can figure out how to get the pizza the way we like it (bake, cheese to sauce ratio, etc).
Excited to visit the south side location of Slice by Saddleback. I asked then last time to add a gluten free crust option for the crab Rangoon and finally got to try it!!! Thanks so much for ensuring this was added to your menu! My Hubby had a pepperoni slice and Supreme slice but I couldn't take a pic in time, he loves slice!!! Welcome to the south side🙌🏻
The flavor was pretty good. Nice amount of cheese, and the right amount of sauce - not too much, not too little. And the sauce tasted good.
However, the crust was like eating bread - not crispy in the least. And I ate it about 30 seconds after I got the slice, so there wasn't time for it to have gotten soft. And the biggest issue is the price. The website says a slice is a quarter of their 14 inch pizza. Which makes it sound like it's a lot. It's not. This is roughly the same size as a typical slice of pizza. It's wider than a typical slice, but it's also shorter. So in the end it's roughly the same size. It should be half the price it is.
If the price were half, I'd probably come back again for a slice or two since even though the crust was limp, it still tasted good.
