Discovered this UP treasure yesterday. Wow. If you love smoked meat and great BBQ, it's a must. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too!

Some of the beat BBQ i have had in a long time, all the meats, sandwiches, and pizzas looked awesome. Got a 3 meat platter; Tried all the sauces, the house was my favorite. Definitely stopping back to try more.

Great local place. Food is excellent. Friendly staff. Very unique and you can sit up or down stairs. Bbq sauce is so good. So many different flavors. We enjoyed every bite. Never been in this area before and If we are back in the area this is where we would eat. Not expensive and quality of the food is spot on. I loved that they had a veggie option for me as well. My husband loved the pulled pork and pulled chicken. Excellent beans. Want to just sit and relax. ..go here. Thanks for a great meal. 5 stars.

I don’t have a bad thing to say about this place. I am from Chicago and know a good rack of ribs when I taste one and Shawn and his staff provided excellent service and made my family a great meal. The house barbecue sauce was also a favorite and would buy if it was sold it bottles. The overall atmosphere of the place was positive and friendly and would surely go back when I come back to the upper peninsula.

A must see restaurant for excellence in every category. THE BEST barbecue I've tasted in all of Michigan - and up there with the best in all my travels. Have to try their sumptuous corn pudding as well as their blue ribbon coleslaw. Met the owner, chef and staff who made themselves very available to ensure we had a memorable dinner. By the way, they seated us at 10 minutes prior to closing and refused to rush us one single second. WE'LL BE BACK! Open all year long!
