Dickey's Barbecue Pit

My father and I had lunch at the Kalamazoo MI location today and had an exceptional experience. Not only was the food delicious but the staff were amazing! Everyone I encountered was pleasant and very kind, especially Bernard, who went above and beyond. My father uses a walker and needs assistance getting in and out of places. Bernard met us at the door and offered to help walk my dad inside to a table while I parked the car. He also helped him back outside once we we're finished. Not a lot of people do those kind of things nowadays and it warmed my heart to see that genuine kindness still exists. Thank you Bernard!!! We will definitely be back soon.

Great food, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and food was given promptly! The only thing that would make it taste better is a cold beer and Corn on the Cobb. I'll definitely be back many times. Meet the owners Craig and Mike and they made feel appreciated

I would give more than 5 stars to Dickey's if I could. The food is unbeatable! It's always hot and cooked to perfection. Not bad prices for what you're getting either. I can usually get two meals out of the one meal I purchase. Above all the service and the staff are phenomenal. Every time we go, we're greeted from the moment we walk in the door, asked about how our food is, and wished well as we walk out of the door with our full bellies. The workers are some of the sweetest, most down to earth people I have ever met. I would go here every day if I could, but going at least every Saturday is just enough for me and my budget. Thank you for all of the great service and food. We will always be back!

Very good BBQ pulled pork. The potato salad and baked potato casserole both had the same kinda mashed up texture but it tasted good. Kind of small portions for the price. Everyone working there was really nice. Ill go back and see what some of the other sides and the brisket is all about.

First time visiting. They greet you when you walk in. Everyone is smiling very clean. Had a rib plate dinner 4 large rib pieces and 2 sides and a roll. Brought 1/2 of it home. Awesome ???? definitely be back!! Reasonable price too ????
