Theo and Stacy's has been a staple of downtown Kalamazoo since 1973. It's a small unassuming establishment.
When I visited it was for breakfast.
I got their special of the morning, which was 2 eggs, potatoes, toast and jelly. Everything was as you would expect, without disappointment.
There were regulars already there when I arrived around 7:45. I felt like the odd man out. Fortunately someone was joining me by 8:00.
It's the history that makes this place special. Worth a visit just to say you've been.

Mothers day brunch. They were extremely acomodating with our energetic 4 year old. Excellent brussel sprout appetizers. Fast service. Although a little more costly than most restaurants in the area, it was definitely worth it.

Delicious and well priced. This Greek diner serves multiple options for your exploitative palate. From their various soups, salads, and many entree options you cannot go wrong. Now this might not matter to you, however I'm a fan of matching chairs and silverware. Service was good and timely. The food hot was amazing and its quality did not dissipate as leftovers as some places might.

I love the Gyros, Fry's and the salad. However, when I was there last week I had waffles, ham and scrambled eggs with cheese. He could have work the scrambled eggs to be scrambled eggs and the cheese to be melted. But all in all, Theo's and Stacy's is one of my favorite restaurants in town to order a gyro plate. And I must say, they have the best pancakes in town.
What keeps me going back is the owner, when I look at the pictures on the walls, I feel the love that she and her husband must have had. And to see her walk the floors of her restaurant takes me back in time, a time that was not even mine. But I've been going there now for over 40 years in something and to watch her greet everyone, makes me glad just to walk through the doors. She's very kind and full of respect. I just love to go in and eat, and watch her greet everyone with a smile and a kind word.

Great little small business family owned Greek and American food. Stacey walks around and talks to customers while I'm guessing Theo is cooking. Good service biscuits and gravy was yummy.
