Skinny Kennys BBQ

These photos should speak for themselves, but you can always count on Skinny Kenny's for a spiritual BBQ experience! We are so excited about their new Portage location! We're used to making the drive to Mattawan, but it was worth it 10 times out of 10.They have the sweetest staff (always coming out to the dining area and asking guests how they're enjoying their food), the most diverse menu, and absolutely incredible food! We love Skinny Kenny's!

Outstanding place! The monster bowl is out of this world! And above all the service was awesome. The head chef even took me on a tour of his smokers out back when we started conversating about BBQ!

Had a great late lunch. Ordered the skinny moose with sausage. The food was well prepared, but took a little while to prepare. Flavor, presentation, and everything about it was great!

As a bonus, staff was very polite and helpful. Place is clean and nice. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Overall impression:. This is a great alternative to basic counter-serve BBQ.

Great food and great service! The serving size is super generous too! I don't usually post reviews but this place deserves the shout out! My husband and I both got the Treat Yo Self with the brisket and pulled pork. It comes with 2 sides. I got tots and cheesy hash and he got tots and Mac and cheese. We will definitely be back and reccomend!! :)

Have only ordered through Doordash, but 1000000% recommend. I love the mac and cheese with pork. Food comes packaged great and fresh tasting. Will visit in person soon! We had the tater tots and apple pie, too! YUM.
