Texas Roadhouse

I love Texas Roadhouse. Very good food, friendly and accommodating. Food portions seem to have diminished. Otherwise great!

My family and I went to dinner tonight for a quick Memorial Day dinner. We have a 3 year old and let me tell you what, dinning out can go one of two ways with a little one. We were sat with Christian and from MINUTE ONE, our experience was exceptional. Christian interacted with our three year old and made sure his food came out first. We had even made a special request to have his apple sauce hidden on the side (if you have a little one like ours you’ll know their meals are easily distracted by the foods they really like lol) Christian made sure all of this was taken care of for us. Refills, bussed table, personable, and so kind. If you come to Texas Roadhouse in portage I will always suggest Christian. We will ALWAYS ask for him now. Thank you for making our experience so great!!!!

We were there at a peak customer time,very busy. We waited for hour and 45 minutes to get seated. We had a group of 7. Its a fact that double up table are prohibited. When we did finally got called it was a booth with a chair on main walk way. We again waited for 15minutes. We got seated anger enjoyed a good dinner,also almost perfect service. We will return again but at a earlier time. It's worth the wait.

This place is always a delight. It's quick, the staff is wonderful and all in all the best steakhouse around. The quality of the meat, the sides are always great. I've been here numerous times for a number of parties and just on our own. Totally worth your time to drop by.

I had the New York strip with fries and a salad. My wife had a sirloin with mashed potatoes and gravy with a salad.

The steaks here are always cooked perfectly and have incredible flavor with zero sauce of any kind. This is the mark of a good steakhouse in my opinion. The NY strip is markedly better than the sirloin.

The fries could use some work, they need to be crispy instead of soggy. Salads were good. The bread they offer for free is very delicious and always fresh.

This place is always super busy. Call ahead if you can, it saved us a solid 45 minutes of waiting but don't plan on using this feature for a large party.
