ELK Brewing

The food was really good, but the service was severely lacking. We came before a whitecaps game and it was fairly busy but there were open tables so it wasn't completely full. After being seated no one came to get our drink orders for just under 15 minutes. The server we got was very nice but obviously overwhelmed. Maybe they were short staffed tonight. Once we put our food order in, it was about 43 minutes until we got it. Another family next to us had been seated and ordered before us and got their food after ours. They were visibly irritated. The food itself was great. I requested silverware for my meal and was told they didn't have any clean and it would be a few minutes. Overall they were extremely disorganized, not enough staff to handle a Saturday night and had mediocre service. I would not return.

It’s a small scale brewery with decent food. Don’t go out of your way to go, but if it’s convenient then I’d say it’s a fine establishment to grab a beer and a burger on a Wednesday night.

Wonderful experience. My husband was surprised with a group of friends to help him celebrate his birthday. We ordered all the appetizers, they were all great. Everyone loved their beers, especially my husband. We had one small glitch in the food order, but Ryan made it right. Cassie our server was very attentive. Thank you to the whole staff, it was a great experience. We will be back !!

The beers were fantastic! Our burgers and pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. Food came out of the kitchen fast! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our meal and seemed to genuinely care that we were happy with our meal and drinks.

The elk sculptures were very unique and it was a welcome change from seeing taxidermy animals. Great location, too. We had a very good experience here and will be back!

We checked this brewery out for the first time today. Plenty of seating, both indoor and out. Nice decor. Clean. Husband really enjoyed his peanutbutter porter. I went a little risky and tried the lime sour. It is good but you really have to like sours. We shared a fried green tomato sandwich and asked for bacon on it. They complied happily. It was yummy. The fries had a nice quality but a touch over seasoned, as were the chips. Staff quality and service was great. We really enjoyed our visit.
