We love the fish on Fridays. However go early so you don't have to yell at the person sitting across from you. Gets really busy and really loud quick.

Perfect hole in the wall bar where they all know your name, but very welcoming to new friends too! Also the best food on Michigan street

Great food. We had the best wings ever. Decor was horrible. We got our food to go.

Nice, local bar to pop in for a cold beer and a good chat. Bar tender was friendly and welcoming, my first time there. He came by the table a few times to see if I needed anything.

To be fair I’ll start this off by saying Birch is not my cup of tea. However, the staff was attentive and courteous so that earns it the 4 stars in my opinion. The food is what you’d expect for an old bar food. Fried everything and flavorless. The drinks are cheap so that’s a positive. The bar can also get pretty crowded depending on the day. In the women’s bathroom it has pretty much a saloon door to the stall, so just be aware of that.
