We didn’t really know much about it before going there and we were very impressed! It’s located on the 8th floor of the Canopy hotel in Grand Rapids. If you ask the hotel’s front desk, they’ll help direct you.
The food was amazing! Not a typical type of quinine you can easily frond around GR. We were particularly impressed with the pretzels (exciting, I know...) But they are delicious! A unique sort of pretzel that’s almost croissant-like. The bratwurst were also delicious as well as perfectly cooked shrimp and fish. I’d recommend getting the Wurst Board your first time because it comes with a lot of different items to try. For dessert we tried the carrot cake, which is served as two individual cupcakes, which was perfect.
Very impressed and excited to return!
Had a great time grabbing cocktails and some food on the rooftop bar. Thankfully had gorgeous weather for a November evening. Food was delicious, the mussels were great! Carlie was our server, she knew both the food and menus very well and did an excellent job making recommendations and providing excellent service. Definitely on the list of places to come back to.
Had a very great first experience. Staff was super nice. I got the red sangria on tap with the Mussels and fries. They both were super tasty. They also have heated outdoor patio too! Super cute spot. Would highly recommend!
Place was amazing from the service to the food. Views from the rooftop are great and love the inside/outside seating. Marcus was our server and he was fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The decor was spot on with the Dutch themed concept. Grand Rapids definitely needed something like this, and I highly recommend Knoop the next time you are in downtown Grand Rapids!
