    This little restaurant is inside the La Familia Stop-N-Shop on Grandville Ave. The dining area was closed due to COVID, but takeout was open! It was so good to resume our taco tour after a long hiatus. Eli and I both got the same order; traditional Mexican tacos with corn tortillas, 1 al pastor, 1 lengua, and 1 chorizo. They were fantastic. Eli said that it was the best al pastor he’d had in a long time. It was fantastic. All 3 tacos were amazing, but I agree, the pork was the best. Super flavorful and just enough heat to induce a little sweat. And the hot sauces that came with the tacos were the perfect addition. When we called in our order, I asked the employee what they were known for. She said that everyone loved their tortas, so we ordered a steak torta - oh my goodness, so good. The bread was perfect and had a slight char on the outside so it was soft, but had a bit of a crust. The sandwich was perfect. I should’ve just eaten that, but then it wouldn’t be a proper taco tour stop, right?! Highly recommend el Tigron, so good.

    Best tacos and food in general around. Not very famous but great!

    Great tacos, they also offer a variety of authentic mexican plates. Great customer service!
