Their chicken wings are seasoned to perfection and are cooked just right, corn bread is nice and moist and everyone of their sides are ????. They have a lunch buffet twice a week too. If you're looking for a new lunch spot then I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

(April 29, 2019, 12:07 am)Just left a great family occasion that took place at The Candied Yam. First of all, I must commend the staff. They were friendly and very attentive to every request and need. The food was "off the chain" good. I had collard greens, pork chops, and mac &cheese. Everything was freshly made, well seasoned, and served hot. I definitely will be back.

(March 23, 2019, 12:17 am)Young man at the counter was very polite and helpful, great knowledge of the menu. The food we ordered was amazing! First time trying collard greens, they were awesomeness! Cat fish and sweet potatoes were perfect, will be back, love this place! My son and I give the food a 10 out of 10.
