Good food at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed sitting on the patio-ish area that was surrounded by windows. The waitress we had was pleasant as well. A decent beer and cocktail list also. Would definitely come back.
This is a beautiful restaurant. If you like Woods restaurant, downtown Grand Rapids, it has a similar vibe. Food is reasonably priced and standard mid range restaurant fare. We ordered easy wins, fried perch and a wrap. No frills but nicely done. Great place to chill.
Monday's are the best! For $10 you get The Roadhouse burger and a beer. I love their burgers! They cook to order, and liking mine juicy, their medium-rare is perfect! The seasonings they use are delicious! I like their salads and soups as well. Great rustic atmosphere and friendly staff are what you're going to find here.
This place was pretty good. The food was very satisfying and our waitress was very sweet and helpful. My sister and I are black GV students going home for the weekend so we wanted to get a meal before getting on the road. Some times in areas we don't know well, we're very cautious about being discriminated against. Luckily everyone was super nice and inviting. I will definitely consider coming back here. Good job, staff.
We tried Walker Roadhouse for the first time because we wanted to see why their parking lot was always packed every time we drove by. My husband ordered a Steak well done (specifically said well done. No pink at all.) His steak came out with a bit of pink still in it, but he did not send it back & said it was still really good. I ordered the French Dip and chips. The French Dip was really good, but the chips were not my favorite. I'm not sure if it was because they needed a little salt or that they were a little too browned. Overall our main courses tasted pretty good. If I could have given a bit of advice to our waitress, it would be to smile a bit & not be so short with her words. We felt like she did not really want to be there and taking our order was a bother. We never did get a refill on our drinks which were empty well before our meal was. I give the restaurant 4 Stars, but I only give the Waitress 2 Stars. I hope either she has cheered up or finds a different job in which she can be happy.
