“I come into Grand Rapids about once a month for business and usually stay at the Hampton. I enjoy the bar atmosphere at Palio Grand Rapids because it is quiet and welcoming and they always let me plug my computer in so I can enjoy a cocktail while I do work. I am very pleased with their bourbon selection for an Italian restaurant. I've only had the pizza there which is the perfect size for just me but the other dishes I have seen come out look delicious as well. Stacia or Nate are usually working at the bar area and both will give you a great conversation. It's a great place for a lonesome traveler like me. Highly recommend if you are in town.”

“We went here while in a trip staying at the hotel nearby. Great late night option when you need a bite. We ordered a whole pizza the first night and just got a slice the second night. The pizza itself was a little bland. I would recommend it as a late night option, but if you are looking to try out the local best I would look elsewhere.”

The man in charge QUICKLY took the salad back, and asked if I'd like another one made. I took him up on his offer. I must say, the second salad was delicious and they even gave me a coupon for a free drink my next visit. “My husband and I love this place, it's great place to sit down and have a nice dinner, the ribs are amazing and award winning too!! Or if you're just looking to have a quick couple of drinks before a concert or a show downtown it's great for that too as Z's is within walking to every venue downtown!! They have great dinner food and bar food as well so whatever you're in the mood for, they can accommodate! The beef nachos are a favorite as well and they use pulled beef which threw us at first but we ordered any way and I'm so glad we did, it was so much better than ground beef!! Like I said, never disappointed here, try it you won't regret it!!”

“The atmosphere was cool. The menu had a lot if great items on it. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my son had a brisket sandwich. They were both excellent. My only thought was that the bbq sauce provided all just tasted a lot like vinegar and ketchup. There were 5 or so to pick from but they all tasted the same. Otherwise we had great service!!”

“Mai’s Thai is wonderful. I enjoyed the vegetable curry dish very much. This is a great Thai place. I only have one suggestion: dear Mai’s Thai, your vegetable fresh roles are not as inspiring as your other dishes. Vegetable fresh rolls, in order to be the best, need fresh lettuce as well as a reasonable balance between the lettuce and the vegetables. Other than that ya’ll are delicious. Staff is super awesome and it is usually a quick in and out. Enjoy!”

“Pretty good place and prices over all but I was charged an extra dollar from the cashier that said the cigarettes went up this week when I was charged $7.41 plus taxes, I knew they didn't go up so was alittle disappointed I was over charged instead of being charged the correct price. Hopefully they watch that and dont over charge people on a daily basis. Well she tried it again. I went in one more time and the same lady over charged me I told her she was wrong and she said well it is still marked cheaper so I'll give it to you. I said well them maybe you should change your price on the shelf. I'm not going there again as of this edited post 8/13/19 . So if you decide to go to this place just pay attention to the charges when they ring you up. I'm not getting over charged again so they lost my business. She didnt seem to mind to much but oh well.. good luck is all I can say.”
