Black Rock Bar & Grill - Grand Rapids

First timers here and I cant tell you how amazing this place is. Great new location opened up by woodland mall very convenient and close to all your shopping needs. If you are ever craving some amazing steak or sea food or just meat in general along with many other options and varieties of food then this is the place for you. Very classy , waiters are excellent and very attentive. Might have a wait time but I promise you wont be waiting too long. Very many different drink choices and drink specials and the dessert is to die for. Great customer service and a really great place seriously you wont be disappointed. Check it out for your self.

First, our waitress was Genevieve and she was such a delight. So positive, helpful, and despite being busy, very prompt with drinks. We opted not to do the rock because we had before. A manager came out to ask if there was a reason we chose not to do it this time. Sounded like he just wanted to make sure there wasn’t something they could be doing better. The staff all worked well together. There were people taking plates from the table and checking on us. Overall great experience and definitely would go back. Wait time wasn’t too bad either- 40 minutes prime dinner time on a Saturday.

We ate here for the first time tonight (1-17-20@630pm). The steak my husband had was delicious! I had ribs they were okay but I probably wouldn’t get them again. They didn’t taste bad and they were tender but the sauce had no spice to it, just sweet. I like spicy ribs.

However, the service was fantastic. The general manager saw that the lava rock was not sizzling the steak so he took it and brought us a new lava rock and some more steak. I can’t remember his name but he was fantastic and gave us a free appetizer. The dessert was really good we had the black rock volcano. The overall experience was great and we will be back.

Our new favorite place to eat as a family! Our waitress Lexi was awesome! We had a group of 4 adults and 9 kids and she handled it like a pro! She did an excellent job! Paul the general manager was awesome too! He even carried 5 soft drinks out to us with a great sense of humor!! Food was delicious! Atmosphere was perfect! Very nice place and bathrooms were super clean and high class ????.

Black Rock Bar & Grill in Grand Rapids MI is amazing! First of all our waitress Rachael was amazing. She was very nice an very patient with our party of 4. We had never been here before so she made our experience welcoming. Don’t let me get started on Paul he is the General Manager for this location an he “ROCKS” he came out himself an made our food. He gave out a delicious dessert for our birthday girl. I would most definitely come back again with no hesitation. Thank you so much Black Rock Crew you guys ROCK! Literally..... Oh sorry I almost forgot the food was so good.
