Good, solid go-to for breakfasts and lunches. The food is pretty standard - egg plates, sandwiches and so forth - which is what you're looking for in a place like this. There's something for everyone and prices are reasonable. There is lots of good old fashioned american comfort food. The staff is friendly and on the ball, and your coffee mug will always be full.

Our waitress was superb... she was tall with brunette hair with glasses. I can't remember her name but she was AWESOME! She is a keeper☺️☺️☺️☺️

The food was good, the staff was friendly. We ordered to go and the only problem we had was that what we ordered was written on the to go containers, was not what was in the boxes. Initially, I had just thought they put the crunchier bacon in the wrong box, so we switched bacon and I proceeded to eat my toast, while my husband inhaled his eggs. When I got to my eggs, they were like soup - extra over easy - I like mine over medium, which was what he had... So that was disappointing.

Definitely a local favorite! The food is delicious - and everyone in town knows it, so it can get quite busy. Is it worth it? Unless if you're crunched for time, definitely! The breakfasts are amazing and the service friendly. I highly recommend New Beginnings.

We moved her from Central Illinois about three years ago and just recently decided to eat here with one of our friends. I was surprised by the atmosphere, it feels very home like. The food was good, I wouldn't rate it as anything to blow you away, but it's about that home cooked meal, you just not cooking it. The only issue I had, which is why I gave it a 4 star was our waitress had a slight attitude, like she was just feed up with the day. The other waitresses we watched did so good, but they were also a little busy.
