Lake Inn

This visit was disappointing to me. We've been going there for many years. When we go out we always like an independent local place and not a chain eatery. I look forward to having dinner here and have always had an especially good time.
It was the night of the Lake Nepessing fireworks and I expected it to be really busy. There was no waiting line except for the deck-it was later, about 9pm.
We ordered cocktails and then we ordered some dinner. I was half done with my salad when dinner came and the server took the salad without asking if I was done. Throughout dinner she was very quick and it made me feel rushed. She waited at the table when we decided to add a dessert. I don't usually order dessert, so not sure if that's normal or not. Since it wasn't busy or very late, I don't know why we were feeling rushed to leave.

Great view, bar style restaurant very relaxing. Awesome outdoor patio unfortunately not enough wait staff to accommodate everyone the night we went so a little longer wait time. Food was good. Definitely will be back

I had never been there and was extremely skeptical because being African American, sometimes you face racism at all white establishment's! I was especially impressed! Our server was wonderful! The food was great & NOT one time did we get any strange looks or feel bad about eating there! We will be returning!

Huge menu. Never been disappointed. Great view. Decent beer selection. Awesome facility and location.

Great appetizers! Good food. Good service. Expect a wait on normal days as it's a popular spot. The French Onion soup is good but mine came out late & nearly cold.
