Sauce Italian Grill & Pub

Not a place for a date night. Overly loud and more of a pub than a restaurant. Food was good but pricey. No bread with the meal and a wedge salad that consisted of about six pieces of lettuce stacked up

You'd think a restaurant named "Sauce" would put some sauce on their pizza.. guess they figured differently. We ordered two pizzas, both had a couple dribbles of sauce, despite the menu description. On top of that, we ordered lasagna as well.. as the waiter brought it out he said "beware if the really HOT bowl". Guess he didn't really get close to touching it because both the bowl and the lasagna were anything but hot.. we sent it back to be heated up.. I think they put more sauce on top and sent it back.. we were thankful for the extra sauce on the lasagna.. it gave us some sauce to put on the pizza... Maybe we hit it on a bad day, but three or four fails out of three????

A friend who works at Adrian college mentioned Sauce Italian Grill as we were passing through the area. Wife and I parked in the back and walked around to the entrance in the front. It's mid-March and too cold to sit outside but the back patio area looks nice. There is a long bar in the front with sit down tables and a few high tables, several TV's and Keno. We waited to get seated and headed to the back dining area. Bread and salads to start were crisp and delicious. The lasagna was cheesy and flavorful. The little Italy was a perfect portion, simple, fresh, and also packed with flavor. The tiramisu had a mousse like texture and in my opinion, was one of the best I've had. Thank you Sauce for a great lunch, hope to see you all soon.

Had a wonderful lunch. Modern atmosphere, super clean, and the staff were some of the best I've experienced in my life. I've been through much of Italy, and the food couldn't be more authentic or fresh. 10/10 Italian. Bravo Sauce!

Great spot for date night. Wonderful atmosphere, very courteous staff. Bread trio dip was very tasty. The calamari and shrimp Pepe it was amazing. The ribeye and shrimp entree was to die for. And the pasta gnocchi was incredible. But I highly recommend this restaurant.
