“I frequented the old Clinton Inn regularly for dining and Sunday brunch. They are now under new ownership. The new main dining room is now light and airy but still has that country charm. I can't wait to see the rest of the changes. I have always liked it here but now I think it's even better! The menu selections were great, some new choices and old favorites. I ordered the veg avocado sandwich, I could eat it every day! The staff was attentive and nice. I will be back and would highly recommend!”

“Over all very nice small town pizza place at a fair price fore the quality of pizza they provide. I have never been to Clinton before Friday 5/31/19. I was in town for work a few doors down from hometown. My coworker and I came in about 2pm we were the only ones there. The gentleman taking our order was very helpful explaining the style of pizza and ingredients they use. We ordered a pizza and stayed for our meal. The pizza came out about 10min after ordering. The crust was probably the best I’ve had in a very long time. Toppings were generous and appeared to be fresh. The sauce was good but not anything I’d write home about. .”

“This place was really impressive. All of the food was amazing. Down to the condiments. You can really tell the chefs and those who make the menu really care about the food. It was also pretty cool that there is an art gallery upstairs. Needless to say the space was well decorated. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Really a gem! “Danley's is one of my top favorites. Warm, professional , extremely cordial staff. Best clam chowder in the area. You can't find their excellent navy bean and ham soup anywhere else. They have a broasted chicken dish where you choose between white meat, dark meat or a combination of the two. Try to find that anywhere else. And when they have trout on their specials I wish I had an online trout alert for Danley's.”

“There was a buffet with pizza, salad, dessert, and more. It looked great, but we decided on some entrees and desserts. The food was marvelous and enough to take home half for lunch the next day. Dessert was also wonderful. The cake had a creamy texture, and was pleasantly not too sweet. People working there were friendly and efficient.”

“A delightful little restaurant! As the sign says, they serve comfort food. Although they had signs up for barbecue, we all ended up getting breakfast. And it was delicious! I got a vegetable skillet with eggs and sausage gravy. They have about a billion choices of bread, including sourdough and cinnamon raisin or biscuits. My son got the kids pancakes with bacon. They had the brilliant idea to laminate the kids menu, so not only does it reduce waste and save trees, the kids can erase it all and do it over again. There is a handicap accessible entrance ramp, but you will have to go down a few doors in the strip mall to use it. Plenty of free parking too. The service was friendly and they checked on us often. It took awhile to get our food, but we came in with the church crowd on Sunday and it was very busy. Not at all bad for a Sunday at 1pm. This place is obviously a top choice for the locals.”

After being away from the city for six years, we returned for breakfast today. While the second and third observations above remained the same, portions have become noticeably smaller. My three egg omelet looked more like two eggs. My partner had three pieces of fruit on the plate. Not cool.”
