I believe this is my favorite Restaurant in Brighton. It has been in Brighton since 1972 I believe, because I recall working there back then when I was in High School. The food and the service is as excellent as it was back then. Very good food and they always keep your coffee cup full. Highly recommend visiting Lil Chef if you have never been there.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant for your family dinner, breakfast or a quick and delicious lunch. Their fish and chips are the best, and all you can eat fish on Fridays is awesome. I also really love the prime rib sandwich and vegetable beef soup. YUM. Prices are great for the amount and quality of food you get!

I come here often and have been a customer for about 20 years. I think this place has actually improved since the days they were open 24 hours. It's not gourmet by any means, but it's solid.
The service is good. I've been served by several different people, and they all have taken good care of the table. Very attentive and friendly.
The food always comes out quickly. I've had to wait for it to cool off a few times. Everything I've had has tasted good and was satisfying. Again, nothing fancy. Not flavorless though.
For the price it's a good deal. I'll keep going here regularly and bringing others.
