Hotel Hickman Chuckwagon BBQ

The gentlemen that run this place are hilarious! Good food, great vibes and a good time when you're having some awesome barbecue. For the most part you normally would have to head south for good barbecue, but this place proved me wrong.

We loved the previous BBQ at this location when it was Boogie Woogie. We have tried Hotel Hickman on several occasions and the BBQ is okay as are the sides. The dessert I’d recommend you pass on and just get another side instead. We really want to like this place since it’s a local business and the staff is very friendly.

Purchased brisket for my daughter's wedding (Oct. 13, 2018) from Pinckney, as well as smoked chicken breast, and although the chicken got compliments for the great flavor, the brisket was non-stop raved about. We are more than pleased with how delicious it was. Several people told me many times how much they loved the brisket. The bride and groom were very pleased as well. Thank you for outdoing yourselves!

First time in I had great pulled pork. Second time I had good brisket and an item forgotten in my order. Would still like to try the peach cobbler. It's nice that the staff is friendly and doesn't make you uncomfortable being there like the place it replaced.
