What a silly, wonderful day trip from Ann Arbor. The water nearby is really peaceful. There is mini golf and decent, cheap ice cream. If you buy a postcard there, they burn the edges. Plus too many going hell jokes.

We enjoyed our visit but to be honest, we had hoped there would be more activities. There is a great souvenir / ice cream shop, a saloon (not really for us) and a bar / restaurant. Mini golf plus a lock rack. There is a wedding chapel but no be weddings that day. Nice stop to stretch and maybe a snack. Sorry...

Such a fun spot to stop. The area just for a Sunday drive is perfect. There's a gift shop with an ice cream parlor. It serves local made ice cream with standard favorites and usually one or two unique ones. They gave us free bottles of water as well. There's fun and quirky merchandise and annual fun events. The mini golf is simplistic and punny. It's a very popular destination for motorcyclists with a diner and a bar. You can rent a kayak or canoe and spend the day on the lake right behind the bar. It's the perfect little day trip and one of my favorite ways to kill a Saturday.
And don't forget Hearse Fest held at the end of the summer.

Its everything you want in a tourist trap. Mini golf. Ice cream. Tacky souvenirs. Go to the Hellhole next door for food. Surprisingly good food. Homemade bread for the sandwiches and burgers. Pasties! Go to Hell. You will not regret it.

All of the employees were friendly, with a good sense of humor! If you need help, just ask them kindly and they'll answer your questions. There were plenty of puns, interesting and amusing charms, a delightful restaurant. and an ice cream shop inside the souvenir store. Be sure to check out the other interesting spots on the grounds too! Through the "Gates of Hell" you can find a small mini golf course, a chapel (locked when not in use), and a tiny river walk. I also adored the lock bridge they had and made sure to leave one.
