Gregory Mercantile Inn

The food was ok, but we waited for an hour for cheese pizza and a sandwich. There were 2 more occupied tables, though with many people, so maybe they could not keep up. The waitress was really nice and found some paper for my kids to draw on.
We were there Friday night, June 21st. We stopped by for a quick bite to eat after Stockbridge Farmer's Market, so it was about 7:30 pm that we got there. We were going to eat before going back to Stockbridge for a monthly outdoor movie night, so I was keeping an eye on a clock.

If this is your first time here, get the breakfast burrito. You will not regret it!

This place is awesome! Great food...and friendly staff! Food couldn't have been better... we were there for breakfast today and had more food than I could eat... we have been there for pizza also and and the best pizza I've ever had...well worth the extra miles to get there..Guarantee you will feel right at home here!

Normally I would give 5 stars, because the breakfast is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. However, we tried to call a couple times tonight at 730 to order a carry-out pizza (we’ve never had it and wanted to try) and no one answered the phone. We went up there around 8:15 instead to see if they were open because hours state 9pm, and the young girl working said that her boss told her to close early. She was just hanging out, with a young child running around. However the open sign was still on and the place looked open. ? It was strange.

The Gregory Mercantile Inn, or "The Merc" as it is affectionately called. Is and excellent place to enjoy Dinner, Pizza (which is exceptional!), or Breakfast on weekends. The staff is friendly and responsive. Bernice on the waitstaff is a fun and Lively personality that makes your experience here worth the trip anytime! The dining room is a quaint, no frills small venue, but is clean and orderly. They have some special touches like a small batch line of soda from Detroit soda company, and some great special Pizzas.
