Good food, good service, wonderful ambiance. I go here quite often. I love the loaded oatmeal for breakfast. Italian chicken breast is really good. And with the lunch specials they have right now makes for an affordable meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I have been going here since Ms Mary opened this restaurant and have only had one negative experience.
An awesome dining experience! Looks like a mom and pop diner on the outside, but go inside and you are in a fabulous resteraunt. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant with a live piano player, a more refined dining encounter that you can go to dressed comfortably. The prices are great for the food you are getting and the menu is amazingly varied for such good food. Hamburgers to veal, they do it all well. The wait staff are attentive and professional. I'm looking forward to going back soon to try their breakfast menu with the family.
Ms Mary & Pete’s Too is offering a “Meal Deal” from 11a-6p for $5.99 - there are 5 wonderful selections that comes with 2 sides & either a homemade biscuit or a piece of homemade corn bread. The selection is very good & the proportions are perfect. I brought my brother in for lunch today & it was a great experience. And to top off the food & very friendly device they also have a man playing the piano from 12p-2p daily ... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant for very pleasant environment and amazing food. Thank you for offering the meal deal.
The best thing about this place is it's charm, in that you don't really know what you've walked into. Is it a classy restaurant, or a standard casual diner? After eating there the answer is actually both. Classy restaurant at diner prices. The food was also well prepared, and tasty. I highly recommend lemon rice soup. I stopped in for lunch after a day of shopping, so I only looked at pitas and sandwiches, but the dinner menu looked extensive, and was moderately priced. They also had a grand piano, where they may do some live music maybe in the evenings. Cute little bar too. I highly suggest.
Fancy diner. Great service. Good food. Would go again.
This is the fanciest diner I've ever been to, bar none. It had paper in a nice pattern over the tables, with napkins folded and presented in a lovely fashion. There were flowers at every table and classical music played gently in the background. There was even a piano in the restaurant that added to the ambience. There were a few things that indicated this was still a diner, but I've never been to one nearly this dressed up. The waitress was welcoming and sincerely vested providing great service.
I went for breakfast and the breakfast menu was full of your typical diner food at reasonable prices. I ordered a meat lover's skillet and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. The hot chocolate was excellent and the skillet was good, but could have used a little more seasoning to elevate to great. Some salt helped improve it. The potatoes and green peppers seemed to over dampen the other, bolder flavors. It was still good, but I'll be trying another dish next time I go.
Overall experience was great and I would go again and try another dish.
