Subway

It's an okay subway but sometimes I feel they throw their employees into the fire here. It's not their fault it's the managers or trainers fault. Although they are put in this awful situation they attempt to provide the best service possible. It needs a little work but I feel the employees are carrying the weight and for that it earns its stars.

Listen I love subway, I worked there for 4 years and I still crave it all the time. This is the closest subway to my house and it used to be owned by the same people that owned the store I worked at. They have since sold their stores so now this store is under new ownership. When I was working at subway we did things by the books, and it seems that isn’t the case anymore. The employees at this location are nice and the food tastes fine, but every time I go someone new is working and they aren’t properly trained. This is not the fault of the employees it’s the fault of management and whoever is training the new people. I shouldn’t have to be helping cashiers find discount buttons, or tell them the correct formulas of the subs do I don’t get skimped. Last time I was there the employee told me that her manager told her to only put 4 pieces of ham on a foot long ham sub, and charge for extra. Foot long ham is supposed to have 8 slices of ham, but she didn’t believe me. She then said that coupons don’t work on flatbread subs, once again incorrect. But like
I said, not her fault that she wasn’t trained properly. Sad to see this location go down hill.

Good food, new employees need some better training. It's hard to wait on customers confidently without any backup. The managers forget how hard it was once for them. Compassion!
