MacRay Harbor & Special Events Center

I was here for a wedding. The food was excellent, the decor in the banquet hall and in the lobby was very pretty, clean, and we'll maintained. They offer complimentary valet parking, as well. It's not directly on the water but very near it, so the views are beautiful. Only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 is the banquet hall remained in the upper 70's despite repeated attempts to turn it down using the thermostat.

Valet parking is a breeze, good wine selection, I had the salmon - DELICIOUS. Excelent friendly server. She knew the menu inside & out. Great time.

We were at North 42, their restaurant, it was very good. The food, service, ambiance and the waterfront view were all great. After dinner, we walked a short distance (maybe equivalent to a short city block), and were able to sit on a bench for awhile and watch the nautical activity on Anchor Bay go by.
All in all, it was a very pleasant evening.

My sister had her PA graduation here. The space was cool but the carpet and food were mediocre. The staff wasn't prepared for the large party that came. The view was great by the water!

Lovely setting. However, this facility is worn down, dated, and dirty. Attended a special occasion with a banquet style dinner. No water was given to guests. One had to stand in line for water at one of two bars which each had 1 bartender to attend to over 300 people. The food was edible at best and luke warm. The staff did not clear one plate until event was over so we were all left staring at dirty plates for an hour during a presentation. I would not hold an event at this location.
