Mae's

This is a very cool little cafe with fantastic food. They have a decent assortment of vegan food, including the Impossible burger. Always great service and they have a small, but nice outdoor seating area.

Mae's is super cute! I love the old school mixed with the new, and the little succulents on the table were so cute! Everything is made from fresh ingredients and SO tasty! Can't wait to go back there when I'm in town again.

I was apprehensive and excited about going to Mae's. I heard the food was just OK. WRONG, the food was delicious. The fried chicken was seasoned, the french fries were seasoned, and the coleslaw was amazing. I wish I had gotten the coleslaw to go. I did go back to get an impossible burger for my son. This may be my new favorite place.

Excellent fresh food made from scratch in a quaint, clean diner type atmosphere!! Wild mushroom soup was best mushroom soup I've ever had. They also have baked goodies from Michelle's of St. Clair Shores.

I usually stick to what I know so I haven't ventured around the menu much, but so far my choices have been really good. The pancakes, breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. The pancakes are really big and the burrito is a good, filling size. I tried the atomic coffee a couple times and it's VERY strong. Caffeine never hits me the way that coffee did and it definitely got me ready for the day.
