Octopus' Beer Garden

Stopped in for a visit to Capt Landing before but wanted to see the new beer garden. Sat at the bar and made new friends, and recognized a new dance aquantance also. Maybe new staff also which is always nice to meet. I think it was crispy wings I ordered. Good new menu and wall murals. Great view and saw the ship tour boat coming in. Liked the days adventure!

Wow! We've been to this location under the prior name and management and left unimpressed. We gave the new team a try for dinner yesterday and were very glad we did. Our table not only had a view of the Clinton River - we were in the river (on a barge). Our appetizers ( hummus and calamari) were well prepared and a generous portion. We had sandwiches and salad for the main course and they were all delicious. The servers were cheerful and efficient. Prices are very reasonable and since we caught the tail end of happy hour even more so. We especially enjoyed that the background music and ambient noise being outdoors made it easy for us to enjoy conversation.

What a pleasant experience for our first foray to the Octopus Beer Garden in Mount Clemens. I had read the negative review and felt compelled to review our experience. My husband and I came in on Saturday for a few drinks and appetizers. We sat at the bar and had a knowledgeable and friendly bartender named Jordan. We found him fully knowledgeable of the offered beers and he made some great recommendations. Our appetizers were all tasty. We had the pretzel bites (yummy), the cheese curds (tempura battered and very good) and the calamari (tender, properly cooked and served with a good complimentary sauce). We will definitely be back for dinner. Thanks for coming to the Clem!

Such a great experience for our first time at the Octopus Beer Garden!! All outdoor venue, great food, cocktails and entertainment to complete the evening!! All staff very attentive to be sure you have everything you need and that your table is cleared in a timely manner!! We will definitely be back!!

Stopped in for brunch to see what the Octopus Beer Garden was all about. Love the location along the Clinton River! We had great service, beer and sangria was on point and our food was tasty. Took a peek at the dinner menu, so we'll be back!
