Azteca's Mexican Food

Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent atmosphere. This is the ONLY place I eat for Mexican food. Ever since we stayed down the street up until I drive about 15 minutes just to have it.

This place was great! It wasn't crowded or too loud when we went. The food was reasonably priced and delicious! I loved their salsas. The cook even took some time to come out, say hi, and ask how we were enjoying the food! I will definitely be back when I'm in town next.

Authentic Mexican food. The tacos were flavorful with crisp taco shells that were not greasy and thick. The dessert was the best thing, tres leches cake. Super moist and sweetened just enough so that it wasn't too rich. We came across this place quite by accident as it is tucked away in a strip mall in Shelby but now that we know it is there we will certainly be back. They also have Mexican sodas, two flavors I am looking to try soon, pineapple and tamirand!

Don't get this mixed up with the other Azteca locations you see around this area, they are not affiliated in any way. They have a more authentic Mexican street food taste here. A wider variety and a better selection than the chain. I talked to the chef for a minute when he came out to our table. He seemed very passionate about the food and talked about how he chose his menu.

Everybody in our group really enjoyed their food. If I lived closer I'd probably go every week.

Authentic Mexican Cuisine Lovely Atmosphere!

I truly appreciate good Mexican food and boy, does this Deliver! Wonderful bright light in day and subsumed atmosphere for more intimate dining when the sun goes down.

I am really impressed with so much. The greeting is truly warm, we were seated quickly. We got a great recommend ???? on the Pomegranate Margarita. Yummy! My husband enjoyed enchiladas and I devoured my Chile's Rellonos. Everything is excellent!

We had a great time with each other and the staff are attentive. It's definitely a place to go for great food and a great time!
