The Mac and cheese was unexpectedly great. But I didn't go there for the Mac, I went for the BBQ, and that was only so-so.
Sliced brisket had great texture though little flavor compared to many a brisket I've tried locally, chopped brisket was quite a lot more flavorful.
Pulled Pork was good flavor, if a bit mushy.
The rib rub was rather reminiscent of Shake and Bake™ seasoning, which I suppose is not terrible?
The smoked turkey was pretty light on smoked flavor, but it was tasty.
The sauces I found to be a bit indistinguishable, though the sweet mustard was delightful with the turkey, I'm gonna recreate that one for home use.
Service was good, margaritas rather sugary but potable. Brad may not feature the baddest BBQ but this was a hard earned 4 stars nonetheless.
Early afternoon meal. Not very crowded on this Sunday afternoon. We got seated right away. Everything was very good. The brisket was moist and had a nice subtle smoke flavor. Excellent food and service. We will be back soon! ????
Some of the best BBQ around, there meat platters are delicious. Waiters are very nice and quick to serve you. They have a fine selection of drinks and appetizers. Their pizzas are so delicious and have a nice smoky and sweet taste. Over all great restaurant.
I asked them to make my daughter's burger amazing and they did. More restaurants need to understand that the kids usually pick the place so a good kids menu is important. They need a bad Brad's kids burger. Atmosphere outside is awesome as it is inside as well.
There are different Bad Brad's in the area, I went to 2 of them. The food and service was great at both, but one seemed like it may have been a newer one for to it being much larger and having a larger bar work more beers on tap. The smaller one was near lake St Clair. They both had a great looking patio area but the weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy. Great BBQ, the sliced brisket was great, and maybe the best ribs I've had, at least in a as long as I can remember. Definitely get the BBQ nachos, they are surprisingly good. Good enough that I had to get them both times I went. The sides were great as well. All made in house, if you like Mac and cheese, try it from here. Also the chili grits were good if you like grits. The brisket comes in 2 styles, sliced and chopped, the chopped is twice smoked. I didn't really care for it, but everyone I was with seemed to enjoy the chopped better. Highly recommend trying the BBQ here
