    Did a quick Google search for soul food and found this place. Glad I did cause they did not disappoint. People must not know about this place cause it should be a line wrapped around the corner. I had the 8 PC wing dinner with sauce, yams and greens. Everything was good except the greens were salty. Other than that all good.

    Just ordered a turkey dinner and it was awesome!!!! Huge portions, excellent gravy, turkey was moist, dressing was delicious and best cornbread muffins ever. Cant wait to try the ribs, mac and cheese and meatloaf. The kitchen is very clean and the owners are extremely friendly!!! Will be one of our go to places this winter!!!!

    Friendly owners with fresh and flavorful soul food. This place benefits as not only one of the only soul food joints in the suburbs but great quality. I've had the dressing, pork chops, greens, mac yams, fried chicken, and catfish. All delicious!

    My daughter and I were excited to help launch this new kitchen today, we have been waiting for good southern food to come into our area, it's not always convinenent to travel to get it.
    Well we were not disappointed.
    Had the Baked Chicken Breast, yams and greens ( just a lil too salty for me, but the flavor was there) were all so yummy.
    I was a lil suspicious of the bbq sauce bc I could see it was thin in the container but it was very tasty.
    We also got a slice of both Cheesecakes to share and again very yummy. Nicely sweetened, not at all overly sweet, making it perfect for the apples, spices and the sweet potato to come thru.
    Really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. Prices and portions are nice too.
    So glad you came to the neighborhood. Hope you Thrive here!!!!!
    Hahaha Dawn is my daughter, glad you're gonna add on a sides sampler soon. ?

    She opened today and we were there. Ordered baked chicken breast greens and Mac. Yum. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Mac is excellent. Greens are a little salty. Looking forward to trying more things. Can I suggest you do a side sampler. Where we can get maybe 4 sides for a dinner price?. See ya soon
